FCC ruling gives Verizon approval to lock new phones for 60 days

The FCC has granted Verizon's request to SIM lock its phones for a period of 60 days before they are automatically unlocked. This will hopefully reduce the number of incidents where customers' accounts are hijacked and expensive new phones ordered.
