Xiaomi and Oppo to take on Qualcomm and MediaTek with their own in-house 5G SoCs

A recent report says that Chinese smartphone manufacturers Oppo and Xiaomi are so concerned about the U.S. pulling a "Huawei" on them and blocking them from receiving SoCs that they plan on making their own 5G components in-house.
